Fax: 904-277-5975

Bio: Joe Cutajar hails from Dearborn Heights, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Although Joe is relatively new to the Amelia Island Plantation (AIP) Real Estate Team, he is no stranger to the Amelia Island Plantation. To escape the cold winters, Joe first came to the AIP in 1983 as an intern from the Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park New York. After graduating from culinary school, Joe returned to Amelia Island and spent 7 years as a chef to various restaurants on the AIP.
In 1990, Joe was recruited to work for the PGA Tour. He spent 3 years at the TPC of Michigan and was later promoted to Food and Beverage Director and assigned to TPC Prestancia in Sarasota, Florida. (thankfully, back to warm weather). Three years later, Joe was promoted to the Director of Food and Beverage at the Head Quarters Club of the PGA tour, TPC Sawgrass. In 1997, Joe returned home to AIP as Director of Club Operations for the Amelia Island Club and was responsible for the opening and operation of the Ocean Club and Long Point Club on AIP.
In 2002, Joe was presented the opportunity to become a Real Estate Sales Executive for AIP. In a short time, Joe became the 3rd ranked sales executive for AIP. In 2006, Joe was the recipient the (ACES) Amenity Communities Excellence in Selling Council of the Elite for his sales volume in 2005. Earlier this year, Joe obtained his Brokers license.
His enthusiasm for AIP, as well as the fiduciary responsibility that he feels towards his clients, has helped Joe create a strong presence in the real estate market. Joe's appreciation for the community, natural beauty and lifestyle of the area makes working with him a pleasure for home buyers and sellers alike. Passionately committed to striving for excellence, Joe ensures that every real estate experience his clients have is a positive one.
Joe resides in a renovated, turn of the century home in the historic district on Amelia Island. Joe enjoys backpacking in the mountains with his three sons, fishing the backwaters of Amelia Island, tennis, and Amelia's un-crowded beaches. He is active in the community as a volunteer and serves on various boards and committees.
